1) There are 90 members in our association. I have not met more than 35 of these members. Many of our members simply are unable to attend our monthly meetings.
2) I wish that the members who are able to come to our meetings but have not done so this year would consider coming to the meeting on September 28 and/or October 26.
3) Newsletters are too expensive to mail to members each month, so we have been reluctantly mailing only one Newsletter each year, a “Welcome Back” letter in early April.
this Newsletter to you in an effort to provide you with some information that will keep you abreast of our meetings content.
4) Joyce Wells is the Membership Chairperson. Joyce will be mailing the information about 2012 membership dues to you sometime in September after she receives the materials from ORTA.
5) If you know someone who has recently retired from the teaching profession, please invite that person to come to our September or October meeting to see what we do and what we accomplish.
